What is the Bottom's Up Leash?
The Bottom's Up Leash helps you help your dysplastic, arthritic, post-surgical, or otherwise disabled dog move more comfortably and safely. The leash works by supporting a portion of the dogs hind legs while they walk, or attempt to go up/down stairs. Unlike a towel under the belly, our product allows your dog to eliminate and keeps you from having to stoop over. For quick cleanup, remove only the padded neoprene sleeves and wash with soap and water.

"The dog leash has turned out to be a wonderful thing! Pepper has had a difficult recovery from last week's back surgery, and cannot yet use his hind legs, but with your leash, he is getting a lot of exercise of his front legs and maintaining upper body strength." [More]

"Before I purchased your dog leash I did not foresee Larry taking any long walks anytime soo, or short ones for that matter. Life has certainly changed for the two of us since I bought your dog leash a few months ago. I started Larry off on a small physical therapy schedule that I made up myself. We started walking around the backyard and within a few weeks I was able to get him to walk around the block - we are now up to about a half-mile. This dog harness has been wonderful for him and for me too - I lost seven pounds;-)" [More]

"I just want to thank you for inventing this leash. It has been a tremendous help for me and my dog. He recently developed seizures and after the seizure is over, he will pace for hours and hours. He gait is really bad afterwards and he is extremely weak. I paced with him for 4 hours using this leash. He would not have been able to do so without falling. I LOVE THIS LEASH and tell everyone about it." [More]
"I can't tell you what a difference the leash makes. I was finally able to get Cody in and out of the house by myself... without him urinating on me or himself. You guys have a really excellent product. My vet is using a canvas wood carrier that's been modified a bit. It isn't nearly as effective as the leash. Have you marketed this at trade shows? There is such a great demand out there and I'm surprised at how many people are unaware the leash exists. Anyway, thanks for all of your help. Cody is going for acupuncture tomorrow for his ruptured disc. He has regained feeling in his legs, but just can't support himself. We're hoping for the best. You guys are lifesavers." [More]

"Just wanted to let you know how pleased we are with our leash. We are able to take our dog, whom we may soon lose to cancer, on walks, which wouldn't be possible without the support we can give him with the leash. We are so pleased to be able to help him enjoy what may be his last days. We used the leash on a visit to our dog's surgeon. The vet was impressed with the leash's design and asked us to bring her ordering information so that she could pass it on to her other clients. She thought the leash was a great idea, and said that she much prefers supporting the dog at the hind legs rather than under the belly (the way we used to support our dog with a rolled-up towel). Thanks so much!" [More]
